    New Morgan State student housing complex is a tribute to Thurgood Marshall’s life and legacy
    Gibson, an attorney and historian, was personally asked to curate the new student housing complex at Morgan State University in honor of Baltimore-native Thurgood Marshall. The exhibits to his legacy are located on each floor of the building for students to ponder.
    Dr. Larry Gibson curated Morgan State University's new Thurgood Marshall Housing complex. Students are essentially living in luxury apartments and a museum dedicated to the life and legacy of Marshall. When you first enter there’s a huge mural that was painted by a senior of the university. There’s also a timeline that dates the years of Marshall’s personal life, and on each floor of the building there’s a prominent photo and fact of his professional life as students get on and off the elevators.
