T.J.

T.J. is the deputy managing editor of audience and digital for The Baltimore Banner. T.J. worked at The Washington Post for more than 10 years before joining The Banner and commuted from Baltimore during most of that time. T.J. created The Post's Instagram account, tweeted breaking news, oversaw live video programming for Facebook Live, anchored a major newsletter and created The Post's first editor role focused on subscriber engagement. Prior to his time at The Post, T.J. was a homepage editor for The Huffington Post, The Seattle Times and NOLA.com. He lives in Towson, but his family has roots in Baltimore's Brooklyn neighborhood. He grew up hearing stories about his grandmother's shifts at the McCormick factory.
