Baltimore Police on Monday released new details surrounding a viral video that showed a man attacking two others in Federal Hill after the Ravens-Commanders game. It came as the suspect surrendered to law enforcement.

The attack seen in the video was not the first time that Jack Callis assaulted the two men wearing Commanders jerseys that evening, police allege.

Law enforcement asserts that surveillance video captured Callis attacking them as well as one of their friends who tried to intervene just minutes earlier.

Callis, 24, now of Sarasota, Florida, is charged with one count of first-degree assault and three counts of second-degree assault.

At 10:45 a.m., Callis turned himself in at the Southern District police station. He had previously agreed to surrender at noon, said one of his attorneys, Brian Thompson.

“He’s cooperating with the process,” Thompson said. “We believe that there may be more to this story.”

The short clip from Oct. 13 depicts a man wearing a Lamar Jackson jersey, whom police allege is Callis. He walks up to two men in Commanders jerseys outside Cross Street Market.

Next, Callis kicks and then punches one of the men in the face. He falls and hits his head on the door of a parked car.

That’s when Callis swings at the other man and throws him into a wall. Callis then tosses him to the ground.

Callis walks away, turns back and yells, “I don’t lose” while he flexes one of his arms.

Thompson said the defense team has requested security video from 10 businesses.

Police reported they received tips through Metro Crime Stoppers and recovered surveillance footage.

Several minutes before what’s captured in the viral video, Callis walked toward the two men and attacked them, police allege.

When another man wearing a Commanders jersey tried to intervene, Callis lunged. He punched him in the face, police assert, and grabbed the back of his collar while pulling him to the ground.

Law enforcement interviewed the three men on Oct. 16 at the offices of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP. They’re friends, police reported, and went to the game.

One of the men recalled hearing Callis yell. That’s when he reported that he felt Callis yank the collar of his jersey and assault one of his friends, police allege.

Meanwhile, the man who fell into the parked car told detectives that he has experienced memory loss since the assault. Medical records, police claim, show that he suffered a concussion.

People on social media quickly identified Callis as the assailant as well as his employer, Maury Donnelly & Parr Inc. The insurance firm then reported that he was no longer employed with the company.

In 2021, Baltimore County Police arrested Callis, alleging that they witnessed him and another man beating up someone who was lying in the intersection of York Road and Pennsylvania Avenue in Towson.

Callis received probation before judgment, according to court records. He was also fined $100.
