Baltimore County firefighters battled a three-alarm blaze that broke out Saturday evening at a recycling plant in Dundalk.

The fire at the Owl Metals Inc. facility in the 1900 block of Rettman Lane caused the partial collapse of a building, according to fire officials.

The blaze started shortly after 6 p.m.

No injuries are being reported.

Baltimore County Police advised motorists to avoid the Peninsula Expressway and Stansbury Park area in Dundalk as fire crews battled the blaze.

Several roads closed in the area as a result.

Firefighters dealt with cold temperatures in the low 30s and 5 mph winds as they try to contain the massive blaze.

There are several homes along Rettman Lane with close proximity to the recycling plant.

According to the company’s website, the facility purchases metals including copper, aluminum, iron, steel, lead, batteries, and computer scraps.
