Baltimore firefighters on Monday responded to a two-alarm fire at a residential building under construction in the Baltimore Peninsula, not far from Under Armour’s new headquarters.

Smoke from the blaze could be seen from across the Inner Harbor. The fire was contained around 11 a.m., and the construction crew evacuated the site, according to the Baltimore City Fire Department.

No injuries have been reported, said John Marsh, public information officer for the Fire Department. The cause of fire is under investigation.

Baltimore Peninsula, a neighborhood in South Baltimore previously known as Port Covington, is an ambitious waterfront development that’s home to Under Armour’s new global headquarters as well as a new Slutty Vegan restaurant. In addition to commercial and retail buildings, townhomes and apartments are in the works for the area.
