Did you love that sparkling metallic green draped gown worn by Emmy-winning actress Liza Colón-Zayas? It was designed by Christian Siriano.

The Annapolis native of “Project Runway” fame created the frock for the first-time Emmy winner, who took the trophy home for best supporting actress in a comedy for her role on “The Bear.”

Siriano wrote on his Instagram account that the FX on Hulu series is one of his favorite shows ever. The actress also wore diamonds that are part of the designer’s jewelry collaboration with Zales.

“Oh Liza congratulations!!!!! It was such an honor … to work with you! So deserved!!” Siriano gushed in an Instagram post.

But his mark at the Emmys didn’t stop with Colón-Zayas.

Past Emmy winner Niecy Nash-Betts wore a custom burgundy, satin, off-the-shoulder gown by the Baltimore School for the Arts alum.

Skye P. Marshall (“Good Sam”) stunned in a bronze beaded velvet gown. Chris Perfetti of “Abbott Elementary” reminded us that Siriano also designs clothes for men as he wore a white ruffled blouse with pleated oversized trousers. “What We Do in the Shadows” actor Harvey Guillén rocked a sheer mesh crinoline corset jacket by Siriano.

The designer is well-known for dressing women of all colors, shapes and sizes. He’s made a career of dressing celebrities for major moments, both on the red carpet and on the political stage.

Notables such as Vice President Kamala Harris and first ladies Jill Biden and Michelle Obama have all worn his pieces. During the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this summer, Oprah Winfrey wore a purple-hued pantsuit created by Siriano specifically for the queen of talk herself.
