Old Bay Goldfish are back — and in greater supply.
“Due to the overwhelming demand, we are making more OLD BAY Seasoned Goldfish than we have in years past so more snack lovers can enjoy this crave-worthy limited-edition flavor,” a Goldfish and McCormick & Co. spokesperson said in an email.
The delightful, fish-shaped crackers coated in Old Bay have started popping up on grocery store shelves. You can buy a two-pack of the “quintessential snack of the summer” online starting today.
They should be available nationwide through July, but of course that’s only if the supply lasts that long.
The suggested retail price is $3.69 for a 6.1 ounce bag. Last year that price got a 6.5 ounce bag, and in 2022, the first year the snack was released, the suggested retail price was $2.79 per 6.6 ounce bag.
Goldfish aren’t the only brand to have partnered with Old Bay. Late last year, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood partnered with McCormick to start making Old Bay-flavored honey butter and garlic butter. Those products are available online.
The online supply went quickly last year, and it could go in a flash this year, too. So, if you want in on the peppery, paprika-y, salty snack, act fast — just don’t confuse it for Baltimore’s other famous crab-dipping spice.
