The big question: Can the Bills stop the Ravens’ running game? They couldn’t in late September, when All-Pro running back Derrick Henry ran for 199 yards and a touchdown and All-Pro quarterback Lamar Jackson added 54 yards. Overall, the Ravens finished with 271 rushing yards (8 per carry) against a Buffalo defense that was playing without three key starters: linebackers Matt Milano and Terrel Bernard and cornerback Taron Johnson. The Ravens will have a decisive size advantage up front, but the Bills can be disruptive. Only the Cleveland Browns (27.1%) finished with a higher share of runs stopped for no gain or negative yardage in the regular season than Buffalo (25.1%), according to TruMedia.

Players to watch: Henry, who has 633 rushing yards (6.5 per carry) over the past four games, will spearhead the Ravens’ vaunted ground game. On defense, All-Pro inside linebacker Roquan Smith is the linchpin of coordinator Zach Orr’s unit. Smith finished fifth in the NFL in tackles in 2024 (154) and helped anchor a run defense that finished fourth in overall efficiency, according to FTN. The Bills’ balanced attack will test the Ravens’ front with a strong offensive line and six-lineman formations, but Smith will also have to organize the defense when quarterback Josh Allen changes Buffalo’s look with presnap motion.

Allen leads a Bills offense that finished second in the NFL, behind only the Ravens, in FTN’s efficiency metrics. A second-team All-Pro, he passed for 28 touchdowns, rushed for 12 and had one of the league’s best turnover rates (1.2%) and sack rates (2.6%) at the position. On defense, the Bills will lean on their starting linebackers, Milano and Bernard, both of whom have struggled with injuries. Milano was an All-Pro pick in 2022 and had one of his best performances of the season in Buffalo’s win Saturday over the Denver Broncos. Bernard, who led the team in tackles last season, has to help the Bills maintain their defensive integrity as the unit’s signal-caller.

Injury report: The Ravens will likely be without Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers, who hasn’t practiced since hurting his knee in Week 18. Flowers was listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game, but coach John Harbaugh said Friday there’s “a chance” he will return. Receiver-returner Deonte Harty (knee) is questionable after fully participating in practice this week. Harty hasn’t played since October and would need to be activated off injured reserve before he’s available to play in a game.

Bills reserve running back Ray Davis (concussion), who has 442 rushing yards (3.9 per carry) and three touchdowns this season, is questionable. Reserve offensive tackle Alec Anderson (calf), who’s carved out a role in some offensive packages as a sixth lineman, was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday but is expected to play Sunday.
