Left tackle Ronnie Stanley is one of four Ravens starters questionable for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Stanley returned to practice Friday after missing the team’s first two workouts this week because of an ankle injury. He was limited along with defensive lineman Travis Jones (knee) and outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy (hamstring), who returned to practice for the first time since suffering his Week 2 injury.

Tight end Isaiah Likely (foot) was a full participant Friday for the first time since returning to practice two weeks ago. He’s questionable for Week 4, along with Jones and Van Noy. Defensive linemen Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) and Broderick Washington (ankle) and fullback Patrick Ricard (calf) were ruled out of Sunday’s game.

Stanley played every offensive snap in the Ravens’ loss Monday to the Detroit Lions but missed practice Wednesday and Thursday. He’s dealt with ankle injuries over his career. At the start of Friday’s practice, Stanley was working out with an athletic trainer, separated from the team’s offensive line drills.

“He’s doing well,” coach John Harbaugh said after practice. “He’s kind of in that day-to-day world right now. So we’ll see. He’s working hard to be there Sunday.”

If Stanley can’t play, the Ravens would likely turn to offseason signing Joe Noteboom at Arrowhead Stadium. Noteboom started Week 18 at left tackle for the Los Angeles Rams last season and played 325 offensive snaps there in 2022. He’s played just four offensive snaps this season for a line largely unaffected by injury.

The Chiefs enter Week 4 with the NFL’s No. 19 pass-rush win rate, according to ESPN. Defensive end George Karlaftis has a team-high two sacks and 15 quarterback pressures, according to Pro Football Focus, while Pro Bowl defensive tackle Chris Jones has one sack and 11 pressures. Jones can also line up over tackles in pass-rushing situations.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was sacked seven times Monday, tying a career high. Detroit’s pass rush and coverage disrupted the Ravens’ passing game, often forcing Jackson to hold on to the ball and look for narrow scrambling lanes.

Travis Jones was limited in practice Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday’s session. The Ravens’ run defense, already vulnerable after allowing 224 yards to the Lions, will be without Madubuike and Washington, both of whom missed the week of practice. Harbaugh did not have an update Friday on Madubuike, who hasn’t played since a Week 2 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Van Noy, another important run defender, left that win with a hamstring injury but was not placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 3, an indication the team didn’t expect him to be sidelined long. The Ravens’ pass rush struggled Monday without Van Noy, failing to sack Jared Goff. Van Noy led the team in sacks last season with 12.5.

“It would mean a lot [to get him back],” Harbaugh said of Van Noy. “It would be great. So we’ll just see where he’s at and how he’s doing.”

Likely wrapped up his first full week of practice after he had foot surgery at the end of July. Harbaugh said he looks good, but he wasn’t ready to commit to activating him against the Chiefs.

“We’ll watch the tape, see how his numbers look,” Harbaugh said. “It’s going to be a tough environment. ... Is he ready to go in there, in this game, against those guys and play at the top, top level and help us win the game? Or is somebody else more suited?”

The Ravens also ruled out Ricard, who’s yet to make his season debut or practice during the regular season. Harbaugh said he’s “still in rehab mode.”

Chiefs starting defensive end Mike Danna (quadriceps), meanwhile, is doubtful for Sunday’s game. Rookie reserve defensive end Ashton Gillotte (elbow) and reserve cornerback Kristian Fulton (ankle) are questionable.

Starting wide receiver Xavier Worthy (shoulder) is expected to return to action Sunday for Kansas City for the first time since a Week 1 injury. The speedy second-year wideout scored two touchdowns against the Ravens in last year’s season opener.

Note: Harbaugh indicated that rookie Emery Jones Jr., a third-round pick who started the season on the non-football-injury list because of a shoulder injury, could be activated soon. He will be eligible to return to practice next week. “We have talked about that possibility,” Harbaugh said. “We’ll see. He’s in that range, for sure.”
