Quarterback Lamar Jackson was back at practice Friday after missing two sessions and told reporters he expects to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

Jackson, who played every snap in the Ravens’ loss Sunday to the Cleveland Browns, was sidelined Wednesday and Thursday with knee and back injuries. Coach John Harbaugh said after practice Wednesday that Jackson, who appeared to be in discomfort after Sunday’s game, was missing because of a “rest day.”

“I was just resting my body,” Jackson said Friday. “It’s a long season, that’s all.”

Harbaugh said Jackson looked good in his return, and he was not worried about Jackson’s readiness for Denver, which has one of the NFL’s best defenses. Jackson did not receive a game designation on the team’s injury report Friday, an encouraging indication of his health.

“He studied all week,” Harbaugh said. “He was involved in all the preparation stuff. He knows the game plan. He knows the opponent. He’ll be ready to go.”

The Ravens ruled out defensive lineman Brent Urban (concussion) and rookie running back Rasheen Ali (ankle) against Denver. Urban missed the week of practice after being injured during Sunday’s loss, while Ali was limited Thursday and Friday.

Four Ravens are questionable: running back Keaton Mitchell (knee), who returned to practice last week but hasn’t been activated off the physically-unable-to-perform list; defensive lineman Travis Jones (ankle); and cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey (knee) and Jalyn Armour-Davis (knee). Jones and Humphrey were limited Friday, while Armour-Davis missed practice.

Harbaugh said Mitchell, who’s recovering from a torn ACL, “looked good, absolutely, and we’ll just have to make a decision as we go forward here. There’s roster implications to all that as well.”

With defensive lineman Michael Pierce on injured reserve, Urban ruled out and Jones limited in practice, the Ravens could elevate a practice squad player to bolster their depth up front Sunday.

“I feel really good about our depth on the D-line, and I feel that guys that go out there, whether it’s the guys coming back or the guys that step in, are going to do a really good job,” Harbaugh said.

Cornerback Nate Wiggins (shoulder/illness), who missed Sunday’s game, is set to return to action after practicing fully Thursday and Friday. Defensive lineman Broderick Washington (knee) and cornerback Arthur Maulet (neck), both of whom missed a practice this week, will be available against Denver.

The Broncos ruled out starting safety P.J. Locke (thumb) and reserve safety Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee).
