Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers missed his second straight practice Monday, limiting his preparation time for Wednesday’s game against the Houston Texans.
Flowers played 54 offensive snaps in Saturday’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, the most of any Ravens wide receiver, and broke the 1,000-yard mark for the season. But he had his right arm in a sling in the locker room after practice Sunday. Coach John Harbaugh said Sunday that he was “pretty optimistic” that Flowers would play on Christmas Day against Houston, which has the NFL’s best defense, according to FTN’s efficiency metrics.
Wide receiver Nelson Agholor (concussion) and running back Justice Hill (concussion), who was knocked out of Saturday’s game, remain sidelined. Right guard Daniel Faalele (knee) was limited to observing Monday’s practice after missing Sunday’s, though Harbaugh was also optimistic about his availability for Wednesday’s game.
On defense, the Ravens were missing cornerbacks Tre’Davious White, who hurt his shoulder Saturday, and Jalyn Armour-Davis, who’s still dealing with a hamstring injury.
Elsewhere, center Tyler Linderbaum (back) was upgraded to limited participation after missing Sunday’s practice, while rookie safety Beau Brade (shoulder) was upgraded to full participation after being limited.
