Solemn night: Residents remember Baltimore’s homicide victims with prayer walk in the rain
A West Baltimore priest on Monday led a group of Baltimore residents on a prayer walk to remember the 258 people who have died by homicide in the city in 2023. The walk included a reading of the names of victims, who ranged from 2 to 80.
A vigil was held at St. Joseph's Monastery Parish to honor the homicide victims of this year. The names and ages of the victims were read aloud before a short walk to My Brother’s Keeper a few blocks away.
City announces traffic calming on Orleans Street after residents complain about accidents

Four other people were shot and wounded Saturday morning in the incident in Woodlawn.
Police identified Judah James, 28, as the victim in a fatal shooting in Woodlawn. James is known locally as the rapper Bandhunta Jugg.
