A body was discovered Thursday in Quarry Lake after emergency responders responded to a report of an “unresponsive” person, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Officers from the Pikesville Precinct found the body after responding around 12:30 p.m. at the 2900 block of Stone Cliff Drive, police communications director Joy Stewart said.
Stewart said around 2:40 p.m. that the person was found “unresponsive” before clarifying that they were deceased, but the body hadn’t been examined yet to her knowledge.

“Water recovery efforts are in place. Detectives are not responding at this time,” a statement from county police spokesperson Trae Corbin read. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated.
