This year will mark 50 years of Baltimore Pride. Festivities kick off in the city this week, and there will be tons of things to do — everything from parades to block parties.

The fun isn’t just in the city, though. Communities across Maryland are coming together during Pride Month. Here are some of the events across the region celebrating LGBTQ+ communities and history in the coming weeks.

Monday, June 9

50 Shades of Pride: Opening Happy Hour

The Pride Center of Maryland will be hosting this celebration of 50 years of Baltimore Pride at Ema’s Corner, a pizza place in Station North, with signature drinks and “great vibes.”

This event is “the perfect moment to show off your unique shade of pride,” according to the website.

Tuesday, June 10

Baltimore Pride: Slay and Skate

Skate your troubles away at Shake & Bake Family Fun Center while wearing your best looks, listening to good music and, as the website says, “serving face.”

Wednesday, June 11

Baltimore Pride: Happy Hour at The Manor

The Pride Center is saying this happy hour at The Manor will have “flirty vibes” and “fabulous people.” If that sounds like your jam, be sure to check it out, get a signature cocktail and celebrate community and connection.

Thursday, June 12

Pride on the Patio

Go for the happy hour specials, stay for the patio vibes, photo ops and pure joy. The Pride Center will be taking over Guilford Brewery with a live DJ and dancing.

Friday, June 13

Mount Vernon Pride

The Pride Center is closing the block on Park Avenue and Read Street to kick off Pride Weekend. There will be DJs and live performances, art and community vendors, food trucks, dance zones and hangout lounges.

Time: 3-8 p.m.

Location: Park Avenue and Read Street in Baltimore

Cost: Free.

Saturday, June 14

Baltimore Pride 50th Anniversary Parade

This year’s parade, which celebrates five decades of Pride, will start at the intersection of Charles Street and North Avenue and feature floats, dancers, drag royalty, marching bands and DJs.

It will be followed by the official Baltimore Pride block party on Charles Street.

Time: The parade is 10 a.m. to noon. The block party is 3 p.m. until sunset.

Sunday, June 15

Baltimore Pride: Pride in the Park

Wrap up the city’s official Pride weekend at Druid Hill Park with live performances, food trucks and a family zone with arts, games and activities.

Saturday, June 21

Catonsville Pride

Organizers haven’t released the full list of vendors and activities yet, but last year the festival in Baltimore County had pony rides, face painting and a high-heel race. If any of that caught your eye, get your ticket here.

All proceeds go to The Children’s Home Transgender Youth Services.

Time: 2-5 p.m.

Location: Catonsville Presbyterian Church (1400 Frederick Road, Catonsville)

Cost: Adults pay $5. Teens and members of the military pay $4.

Wednesday, June 25

Orioles Pride Night

Watch the Orioles take on the Texas Rangers at Camden Yards, while also enjoying live music, face painting, temporary tattoos and friendship bracelets, according to the team’s website. Kariselle Snow from Netflix’s “Perfect Match” will be singing the national anthem. The first 15,000 fans will receive an Orioles pride jersey.

Time: First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.

Location: Oriole Park at Camden Yards (333 W. Camden St.)

Cost: Tickets start at $15.
