An 18-year-old faces first-degree murder charges after a man and his girlfriend were found dead in Woodlawn earlier this year, Baltimore County Police announced on Tuesday.
Markie Cole was arrested in connection with the Jan. 11 deaths of Angel Price, 23, and Daryle Carter, 18.
That evening, officers responded to a call for cardiac arrest in the 3400 block of Aurora Lane around 7:30 p.m., where they found Price and Carter dead.
After Carter’s mom couldn’t reach her son, she went to where he lived with Price, according to charging documents. She found the couple dead on the kitchen floor, and Price’s two young children unharmed, the documents read.

Police found spent casings near the victims’ bodies, and an autopsy confirmed the couple died from gunshot wounds. Both deaths were ruled a homicide, a spokesperson for the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner told The Baltimore Banner via email.
Surveillance footage police reviewed showed the three adults and two children arriving at the apartment complex on Jan. 10 in Price’s car just before 9 p.m., according to charging documents.
A little after 10:30 p.m., Cole was seen leaving the apartment building in Price’s car, according to police documents. No one entered the apartment until Carter’s mom arrived nearly 24 hours later, police said.
Cellphone records showed the three adults had been together since shortly after 3 p.m. on Jan. 10. Cole deactivated his phone a little after 7 p.m. and reactivated it a little before 11 p.m., charging documents read.
Records also show Cole called his mother at 11:05 p.m. that night, and his mom called Carter’s phone four times a little after 10 p.m.
