If you were stuck inside most of this week because of the snow, there is plenty to get you out of the house in Howard County over the next week. (But, if you want to stay inside, that’s totally fine, too).
Maybe warm up with a Scotch whisky dinner? Or maybe learn about reptiles with your little ones at the Howard County Conservancy?
Consider these activities and more for the week ending Jan. 15.

The brew carries rich notes of chocolate, coffee, caramel and dark toasted bread with a subtle hint of roast.
All about reptiles at the Howard County Conservancy

The friendly reptiles belong to Ray Bosmans, a reptile expert, handler and a University of Maryland professor emeritus. Besides showing off his reptile collection, Bosmans will teach participants about local reptiles and more exotic ones.
