Under Armour’s next CEO might have a few hotel points to use for business travel.
The Baltimore-based athletic wear company announced that Marriott International President Stephanie Linnartz will become the company’s next CEO in a press release on Wednesday evening.
According to the press release, Linnartz will be appointed as Under Armour’s president, chief executive officer and a member of its board of directors effective Feb. 27.
Under Armour founder Kevin Plank describes Linnartz as a ”25-year veteran” of Bethesda-based Marriott and “a proven growth leader with a distinguished track record of brand strategy, omnichannel execution.”
Under Armour’s interim President, Colin Browne, will resume his position as chief operating officer when Linnartz becomes president.
