MAYA EVERETT, BROADNECK
The senior forward-midfielder, who is committed to Maryland, scored 41 percent of the Bruins’ goals last season, leading the team with 11 goals and 11 assists. Her ability to see a play develop well ahead of time made her a double threat. Ranked among the Top 50 seniors in the nation by MAX Field Hockey, Everett was first-team All-State last fall as well as first-team Mid-Atlantic All-Region by both MAX Field Hockey and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
NATALIE FREEMAN, MARRIOTTS RIDGE
The Co-Howard County Player of the Year last season, Freeman boasts masterful ball-handling skills and the ability to shoot in the smallest spaces. She can play forward or midfield and led the Mustangs with 21 goals last fall and also had seven assists. A MAX Field Hockey Top 50 senior, she was named to the All-State first team and MAX Field Hockey second-team Mid-Atlantic All-Region. Freeman has committed to Penn State.

ALLY KEITH, ARCHBISHOP SPALDING
Although Keith has committed to Cincinnati to play lacrosse, she is just as talented as a field hockey player. The senior midfielder scored 19 goals and had six assists last season, including the third goal to seal a 3-0 victory over Garrison Forest for the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference championship. With speed and uncanny anticipation, Keith always seems to be around the ball, making plays all over the field.
JESSICA KENT, WESTMINSTER
Another lacrosse player with stellar hockey skills, Kent has been a scoring spark for the Owls since her freshman year when she scored the game winner in the state semifinal and assisted the game winner in the championship game — both in overtime. Since then, the senior forward has racked up the goals, including 19 last year along with four assists. She is committed to play lacrosse at Virginia Tech.

The Grizzlies’ defensive backbone since her freshman season, the senior goalie was a MAX Field Hockey third-team High School All-American last fall and a first-team All-State selection last fall. She helped the Grizzlies to a second-place finish in the IAAM A Conference after winning the title her freshman year. A USA Field Hockey Rise National Team member committed to Maryland, Klebasko is one of MAX Field Hockey’s Class of 2023 Top 50 players.
CHARLOTTE KRAMER, SEVERNA PARK
The senior goalie posted a 92 percent save rate last season in helping the Falcons to the Class 4A state championship. A starter since her freshman year, Kramer allowed just nine goals in 19 games and had 10 shutouts against one of the area’s toughest schedules. She was named first-team All-State and second-team MAX Field Hockey Mid-Atlantic All-Region. Kramer has committed to play for Boston College
PUJA NANJAPPA, RIVER HILL
A defensive-oriented midfielder, Nanjappa has some of the best stick skills in the area. The senior, who is committed to Stanford, can take the ball off an attacker’s stick and has great vision to set the Hawks moving on attack. She had 13 assists last season and one goal. A second-team MAX Field Hockey Mid-Atlantic All-Region and second-team All-State pick, she ranks among the MAX Top 50 players in the Class of 2023.

AUTUMN TAGLIAFERRI, NORTH HARFORD
A first-team All-Harford County defender last year, Tagliaferri will anchor the unit at center back this fall. With strong stick skills and excellent field sense, she is a key to the Hawks’ transition with her ability to transfer the ball to the offensive end effortlessly. The senior is a strong communicator and her leadership will help the Hawks contend in the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference. Tagliaferri is committed to play for Christopher Newport.
MADDIE VASILIOS, RIVER HILL
The Howard County Player of the Year as a sophomore, Vasilios led the county in scoring the past two seasons. The senior midfielder used a repertoire of quick shots to score 30 goals and she also had 11 assists last fall, leading the Hawks to their first appearance in the state final in nine years. A first-team All-State selection, she was a MAX Field Hockey and National Field Hockey Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic All-Region pick. She is committed to Maryland.
AVA WINNER, DULANEY
A third-year starter for the Lions, the senior was a second team All-Baltimore County selection last season. The forward-midfielder is an offensive catalyst who can move the ball quickly and has a quick stick in the circle. She contributed six goals and eight assists last season. Winner, who is committed to play for Indiana, helped the Lions reach the state semifinals her junior year and her leadership will be crucial to the Lions rebounding from a big turnover.
