Quarterback Lamar Jackson, recovering from a hamstring injury, was one of six Ravens ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, but reinforcements are coming on defense.

Jackson left the team’s Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and hasn’t practiced since. The team is 4-11 without Jackson since he became a full-time starter. Backup Cooper Rush, who dropped to 9-6 as a starter after a blowout loss Sunday to the Houston Texans, is expected to make his second straight start.

The 1-4 Ravens have a bye in Week 7, which will give Jackson additional time to recover. They’ve lost three straight heading into their game against the 3-2 Rams.

The Ravens will also be without rookie offensive lineman Emery Jones Jr. (shoulder), fullback Patrick Ricard (calf), wide receiver Devontez Walker (oblique), inside linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) and cornerback Chidobe Awuzie (hamstring) against the Rams.

Ricard returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant but hasn’t played this season. Smith and Awuzie, who was limited in his return to practice Friday, were hurt in Week 4.

Cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who left the loss to Kansas City with a calf injury, returned to practice Thursday and was upgraded to full participation Friday. He did not receive a designation on Friday’s injury report, indicating he’s expected to play Sunday.

Safety Kyle Hamilton, who missed Sunday’s loss to the Texans with a groin injury, is also set to return. He was a full participant Thursday and Friday and did not receive a designation.

The Ravens will need help from Humphrey, Hamilton and new safety Alohi Gilman as they look to contain Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Puka Nacua, who lead the NFL in passing yards and receiving yards, respectively.

Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) is expected to start Sunday after missing Week 5, but wide receiver Zay Flowers (shoulder) is questionable after being limited in practice this week. He leads the team with 28 catches for 377 yards.

Two Rams starters, right tackle Rob Havenstein (ankle) and inside linebacker Omar Speights (ankle), are doubtful for Sunday’s game. Reserve wide receiver Tutu Atwell (hamstring) and reserve tight end Colby Parkinson (concussion) are questionable.

Note: Ravens coach John Harbaugh gave an update on safety Ar’Darius Washington, who was expected to be a starter before he tore an Achilles tendon in the offseason. “From my understanding, he’s doing well,” Harbaugh said. “There’s been no setback, I know that. We were talking November, December back then [for a potential return]. Haven’t heard anything to change that, so I’ll be hoping for that.”
