    A 1-year-old Virginia girl abducted by her father is dead after they crashed in Maryland, police say
    On Thursday morning, police were notified that the SUV sought in the Amber Alert had been spotted. Virginia State Police tried to stop it on Interstate 95 in Fairfax County, police said. A pursuit began when the driver did not stop and instead continued north on Interstate 495 into Maryland, where the driver lost control and crashed, police said.

    Motorcyclist killed in Howard County in early-morning crash Saturday
    The motorcycle, a 2021 Suzuki GSX-S750, hit a truck, police said. The rider, who was alone on the bike, was pronounced dead at the scene.
    Howard County Police said the motorcycle rider was headed north at around 4:10 a.m. when a truck turned left onto southbound Washington Boulevard.
