    The woman forgave Charles Taylor, 48, of Walbrook, at his sentencing on Thursday in Baltimore Circuit Court on charges of kidnapping, first-degree assault and third-degree sex offense.
    In 2023, Charles Taylor held up a 71-year-old woman at gunpoint in Leakin Park and then kidnapped and assaulted her.

    The Maryland Supreme Court has overturned the conviction of a former Baltimore Police officer who failed to prevent a suspect in an assault from attacking a man lying on the ground.
